I will certainly use them again.” Alistair Speare-Cole – J109 Alice We needed our brand new Beneteau Oceanis 50 delivering from Tenerife to Cannes. Having predicted a 2 week delivery, the crew sailed through typical wet, windy and rough Atlantic weather to stick to their schedule. They really do treat the boat as if it was their own and any request is kindly adhered to! Wood surfaces were covered, safety line ‘socks’ used, and the boat was left tidy at the final port. Many thanks and we will be seeing you again soon! Kate Whitehead – Beneteau Oceanis 50 – First Essential At the beginning of May I purchased an old but well-maintained Cornish Cutter from Opal Marine in Chichester which I arranged to berth at Torquay Marina. I had a window of opportunity from work to sail her down myself during the week of May 13th – until I saw the long-range weather forecast (Northerlies Force 6-7, gusting 35 knots, temperatures hovering around 0C at night) at which I point I emailed half a dozen Yacht delivery companies to compare price and availability. David Pugh-Jones at Fowey Maritime Centre was not only swiftest to reply but also competitively priced and had a skipper and crew available immediately, willing to brave the elements. The boat was duly delivered three days later and left spick-and-span for me at Torquay. Richard Ogden Cornish Cutter – Shamrock
