Demand for technical powerboat courses has increased dramatically over the past few years, leading to a need for more powerboat instructors. This three-day intensive course covers the teaching of powerboat levels 1 and 2.Holders of the Safety Boat certificate will also be able to teach the safety boat course. Practical sessions afloat and on-shore theory are geared to teaching the content of these two basic powerboat awards.

To ensure you gain value for money we carry out a one day practical assesment prior to the course (either the day before or on a day to suit you) in this way we can advise on any areas that need “polishing up”

Pre-course experience: Minimum age 16, first aid certificate, powerboat level 2 and be an experienced powerboat driver.
